Instructional Programs
The Advanced Placement Program are college courses sanctioned by the College Board, but are taught in small classes at the high school. Students who elect to take an Advanced Placement classes will take the College Board final examination. Satisfactory scores will allow students to place out of college courses and acquire college hours which become part of their college transcripts. AP courses currently offered include Biology, Chemistry, Calculus (AB, BC), Computer Science, Physics, U.S. Government, Micro-economics, Macro-economics, U.S. History, English, German, French, Spanish IV and V, and Art III and IV.

There is also the Distinguished Achievement Programs (D.A.P). The purpose of the D.A.P. is to recognize students who have been performing at a level of clearly beyond that expected of high school students in general. Students wishing to qualify for the D.A.P. must meet most of the requirements for the Recommended Plan and complete four advanced measures.

Advanced measures reflect student achievement at the college level and may include the following: original research, a score of 3 or higher on College Board AP Exams, a score on the PSAT that qualifies a student for recognition as a Merit Scholar, or a grade 3 or higher in a college course. The products of students performance are not at the high school.
