 BISD ParentConnection
ParentConnection offers parents unprecedented access to their children's grades and attendance records. Parents can also use ParentConnection to communicate with teachers. Parents can create their own accounts and request access to their students grades using online forms. This one account will give parents access to all of the students they have enrolled in BISD schools.
ParentConnection will also take advantage of the functionality offered by GradeSpeed's Triggers module. Parents will be able to set their own triggers so that they can be notified when an attendance event occurs, or when their students' grades cross a specific threshold.
Parents sign up for online accounts using a simple web form - it's as easy as signing up for a web-based email account. To sign up for your account go to http://grades.bryanisd.org and click the Parents link. You will set your own password for your account. The password must be a minimum of 6 characters long. The password must include letters and numbers.
