Mitchell Elementary Weekly Parent Letter November 17, 2009 Dear Mitchell Families, We will celebrate Thanksgiving with our Thanksgiving Luncheons on Thursday, November 19th and Friday, November 20th.  The schedule for specific grade levels is in the calendar below.  The lunches will be during your child’s regularly scheduled lunch time. Our next PTO Program and Art Show will be on Thursday, November 19th and our 4th grade students will be performing and displaying their art work.  We hope that you will be able to join us!!! Also, on Thursday, November 19th, our students will be visited by the author, Julian Franklin.  Ms. Taylor sent home information about his visit and the opportunity to purchase books written by the author.  Our children have loved listening to our visiting authors in the past and we can’t wait for this visit!!! Thank you to the parents of our students that are participating of UIL.  We appreciate your willingness to support your child in their participation in UIL.  We know that they will do great!!!!
