CLASSIFICATION
In order to move up to the next grade level, students must earn a minimum number of credits each year.

The following applies to the classes of 2008, 2009, and 2010 only:

9th grader = a student who has earned fewer than 4 credits

10th grader = a student who is in his/her 2nd year of high school and has earned at least 4 credits.

11th grader = a student who is in his/her 3rd year of high school and has earned at least 9 credits.

12th grader = a student who is in his/her 4th year of high school and has earned at least 15 credits.


The following applies to the class of 2011 and all classes thereafter:

9th grader = a student who has earned fewer than 6 credits

10th grader = a student who is in his/her 2nd year of high school and has earned at least 6 credits.

11th grader = a student who is in his/her 3rd year of high school and has earned at least 12 credits.

12th grader = a student who is in his/her 4th year of high school and has earned at least 18 credits.
