When a student fails a course, s/he may need to recover credit in that course.  Several options are available to achieve this end.

Repeat the course -- the student can take the same course over again during the regular school year in the classroom.

Summer School -- the student can repeat the course in summer school; summer school is self-paced and lasts the month of June and costs $135 per semester course (1/2 price for students who qualify for Free or Reduced Lunch).

A+ -- a computerized, self-paced credit recovery program offered during the school day at BHS; students who are interested should talk to their advisor about being placed in an A+ class.  Space is limited, as are course offerings.

Late School -- held at Lamar Alternative Center, the late school is for seniors only.  It will start a few weeks into the fall semester and run through most of May.  Like summer school, students work at their own pace.  To be eligible, a student must need additional credits and not have room in his/her schedule.   Students should get an application from their advisor.
