Texas Higher Education Assessment (THEA) assesses reading, mathematics, and writing skills.  Most students will need to take THEA (or a similar test) prior to enrolling in college.

TEST DATES (at Blinn)

To register for THEA (or Accuplacer) at Blinn, go to the Enrollment Services Administration Building at Blinn.  The office is open Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm.  You will need to pay $10 to reserve your seat; an additional $29 is due on the test day (no cash).  Contact Ruby Ormsby (ruby.ormsby@blinn.edu or 209-7286) with questions.

THEA EXEMPTIONS
Students may be exempt from taking THEA based on a previous standardized test score (SAT, ACT, or Exit-Level TAKS).  To view or print exemption criteria: THEA Exemptions
