The Texas Eduacation Agency (TEA) has established a set of skills that each subject area is required to teach. These are known as the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills, or the TEKS. The TAKS tests are based on these skills and test all math taught up to the Geometry level. At the top of this page are links to the TEKS for most of the classes taught at Bryan High School. Our AP Calculus and Statistics classes do not have TEKS, but have their own set of guidelines given by the College Board.
