“A+” Computer-Based Instruction Lab Contract
I agree to comply with the following classroom expectations:
· Enter the “A+ ”room and immediately log in and begin working.
· If desired, listen to music on my own headset and agree to keep the volume down so as not to distract my neighbors.
· Work diligently to complete apples each day.
· If I am in need of assistance, I will raise my hand and patiently wait for an instructor. I will not ask a neighbor.
· I will not have any water or food near the computers.
I understand the following guidelines will help me achieve success:
· Good attendance is critical in order to stay on schedule.
· Attending tutorials before and after school will help me catch up if I fall behind.
· I must go through the lesson and practice; taking shortcuts just wastes time.
· The pull-out lessons are an integral part of the course, and it is important to master the objectives in order to pass TAKS.
Grades for each six weeks will be the average of all review tests (60%) and the cumulative grade from the individual lessons, weekly pull-out lessons and warm-ups (40%). All class materials will be kept in my personal file which will not be taken out of the classroom.
