Bryan High School Dance/Shy-Annes: FCBryan

The Shy-Anne Dance/Drill Team program continues their tradition of excellence under the direction of Mrs. Annette Holmes. The Shy-Anne officers hit a roll of excellence at the Starmaker Officer Camp with 5 out of 5 total superior ratings. All Shy-Anne Officers made it to the Kick Team Semi Finals; Co-Captain Lindsey O'Neal made it to the Finals and was awarded one of the top 6 "High Kick Dancers" out of 45 Texas High Schools represented at the camp. The team attended USA Jazz Camp and received all superior ratings. American Drill Team School Galveston Island Contest: Team Awards included Sweepstakes and Gussie Nell Davis Award of Excellence. Dance Officer Awards included Sweepstakes, Judges Award of Excellence, Best Overall Choreography and Best Overall Precision. The Shy-Annes took 19 solos, 2 ensembles, and 1 duet to competition all receiving Division Ones's out of their 43 member team. BHS had four solo finalists out of 5 places; second runner up: Stacy Howard, third runner ups: Terra Hausenfluck and Lindsey O'Neal and fourth runner up Jessica Thompson.
