Welcome to vocational studies classes for students with special needs. This is the beginning of the students' journey towards employment. I teach VAC(Vocational Adjustment Class) and CBVI (Community-Based Vocational employment). In these classes students will have the opportunities to develop job-related skills to make them competitive employees. They will work on these skills at school and/or in the community dependent on the students' progression of skills. The goal of the program is for the students to go from the classroom, to school job sites, and eventually move into the community. Our community sites include schools, grocery stores, print shop and a retirement homes. Gainful employment of each student is the ultimate goal.
