Melissa Witwer -Assistant Drill Team Director / Dance
This is my first year teaching at Bryan High School, and I'm very excited to be here. Teaching dance is definitely my passion, and I cannot wait to share it with the students at Bryan High School. I hope to provide all of my students with a fun and exciting learning environment that they will look forward to every day. I am also very fortunate to be the new Assistant Director for the Shy-Anne Drill Team.
My hometown is San Antonio, TX, where I was a member of the Churchill High School Lancer Dance Team. In 2003, I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors degree in Marketing. While at A&M, I danced with the Texas A&M Dance Arts Society. I also taught dance classes at B/CS Jr. Dance and Drill Team School for five years. This is my second year working with high school drill team. I have a wonderful husband who is also a graduate of Texas A&M and is currently working as a Design Engineer. We have two crazy, lovable dogs who keep us on our toes.
