CONCERT BAND
ASSIGNMENTS
10/16/07 We are starting to work on our Christmas music now. We are going
to play at the KBTX food drive this year, more information will be
coming. Our pep rally went great last week, if you missed it, I hope you
can make the next. Check our calendar for more information. Test for this week
is our scales. Fund raising went home today, we will be collecting the
money as they order. Make checkspayable to SRMS BAND. All monies and orders will
be due on Tuesday the 30th of October.
10/10/07 We have a pep rally tomorrow, everyone is invited to come and
hear us play. Please wear your pep rally uniform tomorrow to school. Test
for this week is the scales, please be ready.
8/30/07 We have passed out several things that need to be signed and
turned in. Please do this as soon as possible. Over the weekend, please put
emphasis on: Go Big Blue, Fight Song, Funkytown, Soul Bossa Nova, and
Oye Como Va. Our first performance will be soon. Make sure you are
ready. Also be looking at the first two lines of your All Region music. Sectionals
start next week.
8/21/07 Instruments will not be needed on the first day of school. We will
be checking out lockers and such so that when you do bring
it up, you will have a place to put it. Get ready for the new year
we have some really interesting things planned!!
