SYMPHONIC BAND
ASSIGNMENTS
10/16/07 We are becoming very busy now. We are still preparing our All-
Region music, our Pep Rally music, and now our Veterans Day Music. Fund raising
went home today, we will be collecting the money as they order. Make checks
payable to SRMS BAND. All monies and orders will be due on Tuesday the
30th of October.
10/10/07 We have a pep rally tomorrow, come and hear us play. Everyone
needs to be in their pep rally uniform tomorrow. Test for this week are your
scales and your All Region music. You now have vets day music, make sure you
preparing this music as well.
8/30/07 We have passed out several things that need to be signed and
turned in. Please do this as soon as possible. Over the weekend, please put
emphasis on: Go Big Blue, Fight Song, Funkytown, Soul Bossa Nova, and
Oye Como Va. Our first performance will be soon. Make sure you are
ready. Also be looking at the first two lines of your All Region music. Sectionals
start next week.
8/21/07 Instruments will not be needed on the first day of school. We will
be checking out lockers and such so that when you do bring
it up, you will have a place to put it. Get ready for the new year
we have some really interesting things planned!!
