JLMS Continues to be an AVID National Demonstration Site!
Congratulations Jane Long!!!
On November 7, 2006, Jane Long was visited by an AVID National Validation Team (AVID auditors). The validation team was comprised of the Assistant Director of AVID Central Division, Rosemary McKinney, and two AVID Texas State Consultants, Belinda Martinez, and Madelyn Morey.
As a result of their thorough visit to our campus, Jane Long was given the honor of remaining an AVID National Demonstration Site. Jane Long Middle School has held the title of National Demonstration Site since 2004-2005.
Jane Long was re-evaluated in October of 2009 by a new team from AVID Center and was once again given the honor of remaining an AVID National Demonstration Site!
